8 March 2017 can also be 8 January 2017(according to CRTV)

Brilliantly observed and beautifully captioned by Rhoda Ngwanya on Facebook, this image was displayed on the much criticised CRTV yesterday 8 March 2017 with a date still to be confirmed by experts of the Gregorian calendar. LOL
Anyway, it's not strange. Democracy and dates are all numbers which counting may face some challenges. Counting has always been a problem during the periods between voting and proclaiming results in African elections.
Dear CRTV, the International Women's Day is celebrated on 8 March not "8 Janvier". There maybe reforms but until then, we have no other option than to stick to 8 March. I know if the women's day is given a local distinction, Cameroon would not have celebrated it's own day on 8 March 2017(the turnout should be better in anglophone areas if we give it a try on 8 January 2018).
